Tracy Nicole Thomas is a native of Rochester, NY and currently resides in the Washington DC metropolitan area. In 2009, Tracy was the first African American female at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) to receive a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering with a minor in Business Administration. During her undergrad studies at RIT, Tracy engaged in opportunities at various reputable companies including Securities Industry Automation Corporation (SIAC), Harris Corporation, BAE Systems, and The Boeing Company which afforded her the privilege to live in various cities across the United States. After graduating from RIT, Tracy engaged in full time employment at The Boeing Company in the Southern California region. During this time, Tracy was introduced to Project Management in the commercial and Government sectors of Boeing and thus relocated to the Washington DC metropolitan area in 2010 to pursue opportunities in that field with Boeing. In 2013, Tracy received her master’s degree in Project Management from Capella University and then obtained her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2015. Tracy is currently a project manager for RIVA Solutions on a contract for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) of the Department of Commerce and the Founder/CEO of The Business of the Kingdom, which provides administrative support services to businesses, ministries and events in addition to training and empowerment efforts in the areas of entrepreneurship and administration.
Anyone that knows Tracy, can attest to the fact that she has been a “business woman” for much of her life. However, of all the employment opportunities that she has had, she attributes much of her knowledge to her experience working at 103.9 WDKX in Rochester, NY from 2002-2009. Although her time there was only supposed to be a part-time job while being a high school/college student, Tracy gained a vast amount of business experience from the mentorship of WDKX’s general manager, Andre Marcel. To present day, Tracy considers her work experience at 103.9 WDKX to be her “favorite” and best job that she has ever had.
Many consider Tracy to be successful to have accomplished much at a young age. Although she comes from humble beginnings, Tracy’s faith and family instilled an “I can do all things” and “All things work together for good” attitude that has given her the strength to strive for greatness. According to Tracy, “This is only the beginning. The best is yet to come so stay tuned!!”

Armed with a law degree and an entrepreneurial legacy, Nicole was destined to become a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of her own company. Having grown up immersed in her grandmother’s dry cleaning business, Nicole learned first hand what it takes to be successful as a business owner. She understands hard work, discipline and dedication.
Having served as the unofficial Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of her grandmother’s business during the course of her young life, Nicole is an astute businesswoman and operates her business with a spirit of excellence and a mindset to make a difference in the lives of her clients.
It was in the day to day activities in her grandmother’s business that she learned compassion for others and the responsibility to help those who are less fortunate and in need of an advocate. Sensing the passion of Nicole’s heart to advocate for others, Nicole’s grandmother insisted that she leave the business and attend college and law school. Having only completed the 8th grade, Nicole’s grandmother was confident that Nicole’s educational pursuits would greatly enhance her ability to succeed in life and business. Her grandmother was correct!
Nicole achieved her law degree and successfully operated her own law practice for seven years. In addition to completing her law degree, she also holds a Master’s of Law with a concentration in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, a Divinity Degree and a Leadership Coaching Certificate. Needless to say, Nicole brings a great deal of education, experience and expertise to any project or partnership.
Moreover, in addition to her business acumen, she is an author, a contributing author in several projects and a dynamic speaker. She has the uncanny ability to connect with an audience, motivate the listener and push the audience to action.
